Fire - Face Camera?

Great end result in this video! I was wondering instead of crossing two quads whereas the player would walk by the fire they could tell it was just two quads. Would we be better off writing a script to just have the quad flat side always face the player? We’ve done this in plenty of Gamedev.tv courses.

You could do that, yes. It’s important to take the y component out of the facing, though, or the fire will start to look very funny.
