Constant rotation force after hitting another object (ground or platform)

After applying the rotation code I can neatly fly around with my rocket. But as soon as I hit another object like the ground or the platform there seems to be a constant rotation that is applied even if I stop pressing buttons.
Can someone explain to me why this is?
