You should be able to full screen in about 10 minutes from me posting this.

What issue are you having?

My game “terminal hacker” is running on my local host after I build it and ran it as per the instructions on the course. However, when I upload it to sharemygame.com, I get only a black screen. It doesn’t work there. Not sure which step I did wrong here.

Thanks,
Dipankar

My uncompressed folder has 79,3mb.
The zip file has 79,2mb.

And the message I receive is: “Your file is too large. It must be under 100MB to be shared for free.”

Frustrating.

Have you built as webgl?

Could you send a link?

Thank you @sampattuzzi. It is working. I somehow missed your post.

@ben @sampattuzzi Fixed the problem i was having http://www.sharemygame.com/ does not accept rar files they have to be zip files, maybe you can include that in the video saves allot of troubleshooting for beginners or maybe make it so the site allows rar files

@sampattuzzi would this be a simple addition?

Not really.

Perhaps the web page should specific in more detail what is actually required then, that should be a fairly quick change?

…and maybe consider adding a “Problems uploading your game?” link which points to a topic here?

We could do yeah. What clarifications did you have in mind?

Just used the link and found the solution to my problem was that I had used 7-zip (.7z) file instead of regular zip. Linking here worked great though maybe that problem could be pinned to the top or some other higher visibility solution. Cheers.

@sampattuzzi, I think the info from this topic and perhaps a search of other topics for the same issues regarding the structure/compatibility of the Zip would be beneficial. You have the “Official Wikis” area, why not collate the information from the topics, find the common problems, create one topic which covers what is to be used, and what is not supported, and then link to that from a “Are you having problems?” style link on the website?

Done. Created a new category for it and we now have a wiki post we can add to. That will soon be linked from the main site.

Do you specifically want everyone to be able to edit it, or just your team?
