Today I have tried to make a car wheel with profile. Thanks to Pablo for this wonderful inspiration.

torus, then a profil
I have mirrored the profile (object > mirror > interactive mirror along the y axis)
selecting the empty, then: shift +s > 2
rotating the profile along the y axis

crtl + j

array modifier (object empty)

adding some subsurf, adding some loopcuts to sharpen the shape

control of the faces (face orientation in the overlays)
finished.
