Bouncing bug

I’m having a bug where instead of my character dying and going through the spikes as Ricks does, mine continuously bounces on top of them. This is after setting the tilemap as a trigger as well. Any ideas how to fix?

We assign a bounce material to mushrooms at some point. Did you accidentally assign that material to the spikes? Or did you do that on purpose?
