Is the Christmas Special starting tomorrow?

Our congratulations go to Leon_V for winning this week Blender collab “Food”.I would like to ask you to think about a topic for the start of this new year 2021.

@NP5 had an idea to close this year with a ‘Christmas’ special. Where the time frame isn’t a week but closes on the 24th of December. This gives us more time to work on a bigger project, adding more details.
Some of us find it difficult to finish on time in the weekly challenges. This is what NP5 wrote.

I was wondering whether there should be a ‘Christmas’ special separate Challenge. Run longer, entries as ‘Christmas cards’ to the forum community. Start now have to be in on Christmas eve sort of thing. Lots of us struggle with the week only time frame.
You could pin it so it keeps noticeable over the time frame.

Even with the multi nationality and possibly religions of the community here, I suspect the Christmas fairy story to feasting family event, snowmen, holly, and robins iconography etc., is world known as a subject.

@Leon_V you can still choose the new subject for the start of 2021! But for now, the last Blender collab of 2020 will be this Christmas “Best whishes” challenge.

And again my apologies for the bad voting support, but it can happen.

And now with more than 20 days to work on a single project you have time to think about the subject, create some blocked out models. Scraping the internet for textures, ideas and reference materials.
Personally I like this idea of a bigger project. But again, as usual, I’ve no idea what to do.

This is the weekly Blender collaboration end of the year challenge. Don’t be afraid to join, a lot of us are beginners. This is all to practice, to have fun, to learn, and get together.
