Started out with a sketch layer to get an idea of what I wanted.
From there I went out and got down some basic shadows and colours I wanted to work with.
Finally, I wanted to use the last layer to sparkle the picture up a little. Layers are magical things, one can use them in so many ways.

Here’s my 3 layer variations.
- sketch layer

- basic colouring down.

- in depth colouring.

Thanks to everyones work so far, it’s so inspiring!

Edit: Yes, it was made 32x32 and then scaled up to 64x64 in case of any doubts.

This one was fun, I used an entire blue layer and reducing the opacity in order to create a “night” effect. Hope you like it.
