This is the Blender Collaboration 2025, week 20 challenge. Don’t be afraid to join, a lot of us are beginners. This is all to practice, have fun, learn, and get together.
This week’s subject is “Cyberpunk”.
- “Cyberpunk” - the Sci-fi blend of high technology and a low-life social atmosphere, set in a dystopian, corporate-dominated future.
The rules are simple. 1 subject, 1 entry, 1 week.
You create whatever object or scene or whatever you can think of that has something to do with the subject. It can be as simple or complicated as you want, all entries are welcome!
Post your picture here in this thread. At the end of the week, we start to vote. And if you are the winner, you may choose the next subject and win a unique badge.

For this week’s Cyberpunk collab, I’ve simply repositioned the camera to offer a new perspective from the original setup. The environment, lighting, and assets remain the same – just a different window into the same dystopian skyline. Hope you enjoy the vibe!

This scene was inspired by events that transpired in a roleplay session, a character played by my brother’s girlfriend was contemplating her life and purpose in the rain. This stuck with me and I thought it would interesting to try to capture it, and learn how to do Rain effects in Blender at the same time!

The new subject week 21 “Abandoned kingdom” has already started. The winner of this week’s “xxx” challenge may select a subject for next week 22 and win a badge.

@gallmerci , congratulations on your cyberpunk entry. You nailed the theme very well. A dystopian future that combines advanced technology (“hightech”) with marginalized characters (“low life”).
- SweetOblivion - It has the atmosphere of a vibrant (positive mood) city, with lots of lights. But I miss the decay, the dirt, the misery of Cyperpunk.
- consummatutest - Overcrowded mega city. You would expect a lot of pollution here. Rooftops full of machines and waste. And the air full of flying machines.
Note: I don’t want to offend anyone. I try to write down positive ideas and visions in my simple use of the English language. I am also sometimes more inspired by a particular subject or solution. I’m also learning from you!
