2025 Collab: Week 12 “Create a (video) game character” - VOTE CLOSED

I suppose this will be my submission. I did not do the background. This does not really fit the theme but was fun anyway. I learned a bit about shape keys and animating them but I think I prefer rigging it. I had a hard time with weight painting since the eyes were separate and had a hard time doing the trackto constraint without having to weight paint it manually and I really had a hard time with it.

I like that I thought of runescape within the first millisecond of seeing it. good job.

Okay. In my head, everything looked much better, but anyway, here it goes. These are more like NPC characters. Little backstory:
Long ago, an advanced civilization thrived on Zephor, a planet rich in powerful crystals - an ancient energy source that fueled their technology. Over time, their world fell into ruin, leaving behind only remnants of their once-great creations.

Among the survivors were the Cryzors, robotic creatures designed to harness and protect crystal energy. As time passed, they became completely dependent on it, carrying crystal staffs to sustain themselves. With no organic life left on Zephor, the Cryzors wander the ruins, searching for more energy to keep themselves active.

Accompanying them are the Whizzers, small, flying robots that act as loyal assistants. These creatures have no built-in power source - instead, they survive by serving a master. They follow their bonded Cryzor everywhere, helping with daily tasks in exchange for energy.

I like the Wall-E head and that you have a backstory along with some functionality/gimmicks for the game

Thanks. Actually, in the end, that head gave me a bit of disappointment. It felt out of place on a massive body, but on the other hand, all body looks strange. So at least people will have a good laugh.

This is my mechanic Bugsie, he is a too-good-natured boy for a plants-vs-bugs gardening game, but this is the idea :smiling_imp:.
