When I zoom in closely to a model I can barely pan around the model. I tried to center it by hitting the period key but that does nothing.
that should be the decimel key [numpad .], however if that’s not working head to the view menu and select frame selected
I don’t see frame selected in the view menu. Did you mean view selected the same thing?
I had assumed you were using 2.8 since the new content is created for that version but, if you are still using 2.7x then yes it would be view selected
