Spent some time today making improvements to the player rocket. Then decided to do a full render in blender.

It’s actually based on the old 1930s-1940s black and white Flash Gordon series which inspired George Lucas. The name ‘Mongo’ is the official name of the planet from way back then. I used to watch this many years ago in the School Holidays and they have actually been putting it back on Talking Pictures which is great. Showing my age lol
Going to create a smaller enemy rocket next which appears in this clip. Looks slightly different. Probably make it a Gold colour so it looks imperial.
