Just wondering because when you mentioned it I paused and fixed it with the project settings so that my weapon would not interact with the interactable? I could see this be an issue later on if the intent was for you to have to shoot something to do something but did not feel that was the plan.

This seems like a better fix, otherwise when you add anything else to the Interactables layer, you will have to compare tags again.
