Delete TextMesh Pro and reinstall it from the asset store.
That’s the easiest method that worked for me.
TextMesh plugin has always gave me problems too.

I have 2 versions of it though. It’s not running because of that. How do I get that to a single version?

I reloaded Unity and it worked. So problem solved.
