Because it looks like a night scene, the shadow should be blurry (not sharp).
Tweak the lamp size, or use instead a area light.

Thanks for the tip! I didn’t really think about that, I rendered transparent background then added the BG in Photoshop as an afterthought. But now you mention it you are totally correct, I think the light I used was a sun/directional light. I’ve moved onto another tutorial now, but when I revisit this one I’ll make sure to apply your advice. Thanks again
