Hello guys!
Few days ago we were celebrating new years eve and what’s coming with it we said goodbye to 2016.
I would like to make a short summary of what I did and how my plans turned into reality.
In march I released my version of Block Breaker in Google Play (http://bit.ly/2iVdcVo). First month gave me only 47 native users. It wasn’t bad! This game was just a test but I tried to make it more competetive so I added bonus module and few new levels. Now when you destroyed brick you had 10% of chance to get some extra bonus. But… some of them had bad effect (e.g. invisible ball). But… In another month only 45 users (28.3% of visitors) downloaded my game. I said it’s okey. It was my first project. I am glad that some people just found it and wanted to try. I definitely closed that project. Another month (May) Block Breaker has 361 visitors and 87 of them downloaded game. June 159 new users. July 1579 visitors in app store and 423 (!!!) of them became users. I thought it will be my record but another month was even better - 560 new players. It was my record. In next 4 months I got 1356 new users.
Today Block Breaker has 2973 users (players who decided to download game) of 11545 people who visited app site in Google Play. It means that 25.75% of visitors downloaded my version of Block Breaker.
In september I released second app. I called it Castle Defender (http://bit.ly/2iNf4m8). First month and only 67 users and for now this was the best result for Castle Defender. In next month only 36 people decided to download my game. And it was decreasing tendency. To the end of 2016 Castle Defender got only 28 new users.
Today Castle Defender has 150 users of 4453 people who visited app site in Google Play. It means that only 3.36% of them decided to download Castle Defender game.

I had 3 months off from university so I planned to find a job in game industry. I got lucky because GameDesire was looking for people in their intern program. They wanted to build Space Invaders for them in 2 weeks. I passed all the tests but unfortunately whole intern program was closed because off some company’s internal issues.
Of course there was more projects I worked on e.g. “Pixel Witcher” (http://bit.ly/2iVpcGM) but only these 2 were released.
Now for my engineer degree diploma I am working on turn based strategy game.
How yours 2016 looked like?
