source tree doesn’t output anything like your screen???
I also had an issue understanding his SourceTree. Maybe yours looks a little more like this?
If so, in order to commit, you will need to click on the “Working Copy” up on the top left, then Stage All (Bottom - Middleish of the screen). Click “Commit” in the top left, then Type in the name of the Commit, and then click the button bottom right that says “Commit”.
This may not even be your issue, but i’m just giving you my limited knowledge of the whole thing.
