Hi All -
I really dig Grant Abbitt’s courses - his teaching style is excellent. I thought the design of this more recent one was too good to pass up so I have been slowly working my way through it (with what little free time I have). I have completed it this evening and wanted to share. Anyone on the fence about this particular course, just get it and enjoy! It’s wonderful.
It looks great!
I think the overall lighting could be more subtle.
All the lights are there, but it overwhelms…
Great result , I’ll really have to try this course after the Blender-node overload I am having right now. I really need some low poly practice .
If anything, I just have the impression that the light from the window on the rug looks a bit too intense (?). It’s not so much on the floor. Could it be due to the rug’s material/color?
The models look great. I like the shape and character. I think that the lights look a little washed out, and detract from the detail and atmosphere.
Thanks, everyone, for the feedback! I think the issue may be my monitor. On my laptop, the scene is much darker and is less washed out. I see on my phone, it is way brighter. I need to recalibrate my laptop screen (it’s been way too long). I’ll give that a go and adjust .
