Completed, via manually getting every window back, and the other method via just selecting the “Default” layout on the layout selection.
How did you get it back? I can’t seem to find the top bar with the File, Render, Window, Help buttons on it!
In the mess layout, click on the button at the top left corner as shown in the screenshot below.
There will be a dropdown list, select “info”
You will have a huge console-looking screen (or an empty one if you havent done anything at all) like so:
The info bar should be at the very bottom, the layout drop down is highlighted in the screenshot above.
