Why we need PlayerLocation?

I don’t really understand why we need to write and clear PlayerLocation if we can use Investigate node to chase the player if we know where they are and stop chasing when the player is out of sight checked the last known location.
The only reason I see is that we can shoot from the “Chase” sequence later, but we also can make a selector under investigation to shoot only if the player is on the line of sight and in the gun acceptance radius.

That sounds right and I’m fairly sure Sam gets rid of later (well, changes it to an Actor reference).
