Why multiply by tau?

cycles is already a nice, steadily growing value to put in sin function.
Multiplying it by tau is just multiplying by a const - we could just as well multiply it by 10 or 20 (it will make it move faster), couldn’t we?

Hi! Welcome to the community!

Try multiplying by tau.
Try using only cycles.
Try multiplying by another value.

Print the results in the console, you’ll see a huge difference between each one of those, there’s no right or wrong answer, but there’s a difference on how the object will behave.
