Why is Get Actor Forward Vector target default Ok?

Why does Get Actor Forward Vector just work with the default “self” target and not require us to explicitly hook up a reference to self like we did for Static Mesh Component?

Neither do, the get static mesh component node that has a target was copied and pasted from the level blueprint where it had to have one.

If you add it within the projectile blueprint it shouldn’t have one.
