Why ignore the eyes?

Is there a reason why we have not done anything with the eyes yet?
Even if having a normals map and a cavity map is not usefull for the eye, wouldn’t we at least want it on the whole body UV unwrapping?

For optimization, you can have all Uv-mapping of all different parts in one map (game efficient).
But it’s all about learning the basic steps with Blender. And not about creating the best solution, because that will depend on usage and goals. Which you only learn by doing a lot of projects. and have the experience to build on.

For the eyes, there are many solutions from a basic concept to a very high configurable realistic eye. But in the course the basic of Blender usage are explained.

Not ignored, there is a lecture about doing them, the last in the section. For a teaching purpose as becomes clear quickly on starting it.
