Ok they put drop down options even paint, cool. HAVE TO SELECT UV EDIT. IN UPPER LEFT. I dont know if this is pointless info. but thought I would share if somebody else experiences , where is my mapping

Almost forgot it will always default with a UV map in object data, but the U still is a nice command
