Why does my Cavity Map have so many black spots?

Hello,

So, I just finished with the Normal map and everything went fine. Tried to do the cavity map and it didn’t go well. It’s almost like its ignoring the color gradients and just sees black or white, no shades of gray.

Maybe this is because my mesh isn’t perfect? Seems like a tight fit though.

Does anyone know why these black spots are showing up? Do I need to redo my UV stage of the course?

Try baking with extrusion and even zero ray distance.
