Why are my materials renderd worng?

While working on my materials for the animatd lamp i reallized that the lamp base was renderd out really strange.
Also I saw this stange white pac man on the bottom of the render.
I would really like some help.

It looks to me like you have two meshes in the exact same place which is causing the glitch on your base. I would further venture to guess (having done this exact thing :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:) that your curve object for the lamp base is the culprit. Try unchecking the camera icon next to your lamp base cur in the outliner.

Not sure about the Pacman but I think it’s a reflection of the light bulb inside your lamp.

Clicking the camera icone in the outline really helped me.
