Where to mark seams?

I tried to make my own version of the troll but now the shapes of my troll is different from the instructor’s and I don’t know where I should mark the seams :disappointed_relieved:

You can mark seam anywhere!

The location depends on how the mesh is streched (deforming the texture).
Also mostly we add seam on location which are less seen.

Welcome to this site.

As FedPete says you have to fit your seams to your shapes.
I would probably try treating each ‘roll’ of fat as a ‘part’ then halving it vertically. The aim is to minimise the distortion when it is laid out flat.
Imagine having to cut cloth out to fit over the shape for sewing into a stuffed toy. It is the same 2d to 3d type issue.
