If you turn “Rotate about selection” off after using that walk about, it appears to be rotating around some arbitrary point in the scene, is there an easy way to reset it back to the centre? Been faffing for awhile then gave in
Hi there
Yes a lot of people have this problem, there are generally 2 fixes.
Shift + C will centre your view on your selected object and centre your 3d curser.
The . key will centre your view and rotation on any object / vertices you have selected, that’s the key i use the most is find the zooming or rotating acting really funny.
They’re probably not the actual descriptions of what they do, but either one of them tend to solve any camera / viewport issues I get.
Hope that helps you a bit.
