Am I doing something wrong?
Hi shampoo,
In Unity, there is something called “shadow distance”. For reasons of performance, the “last shadow” is rather close to the viewer. It might be that when zooming in, shadows start to appear or disappear. I don’t know if that’s the case in your video, too, but if all you did was creating a “normal” terrain, I doubt that you did something wrong.
Have you already tried to restart Unity? If so, which version do you use? If it’s a very old version, updating might be a good idea.
Also check your console whether there are any error messages.
