What's best approach to alligning verticies


I’m making a dagger and I’ve realised I should of angled the blade before beginning the detail, now I need to adjust each vertex to create a slope. Is there a tool or method that makes sloping easier.

for example, the blade of the sword I’m modelling is sharp at the tip, and get’s thicker towards the handle. I’m wondering if there’s a way to create the angle accurately?

Without seeing the thing it is hard to say but select a line of verts, having set the 3d cursor at the tip, then rotate with 3d cursor as pivot point?

Or you could select the end’s verts you want ‘fatter’ and with proportional editing on, scrolled to a suitable size of influence, scale it fatter, probably constraining the direction.
