In the resources for this lecture there are three zip files for the course setup. One labelled ToonTanksProjectSetup.zip and two similar ones where the file name is suffixed by a numeric code that appears to be the UE4 version. After a bit of experimentation it looks like the unsuffixed variation is the correct one, but it may be useful to have this confirmed. Thanks.
They are specific engine versions. I’m assuming the unprefixed one is the one that was already there.
Some people wanted to continue on with 4.22 as it was stated that it would be used throughout the course. So a project setup for that version was added and I assume 4.25 was just added again by mistake instead of being renamed?
@sampattuzzi and/or @Rob_Brooks?
The unsuffixed version was the original that I asked to be removed, it was the initial version I was using in 4.25.
I’ve then replaced that with the 4.22 version and 4.25 version to try and cover people starting with older or more recent versions installed. There should also be an Asset.zip which has just the assets without the project.
I’ll put a request in to get the unsuffixed version removed again to avoid confusion.
One reason that I thought that the unsuffixed version was the correct one was that the Input bindings are present, whereas in suffixed version (or at least the _425 one, I haven’t looked at the _422 version) they don’t seem to be there.
Thank you for letting me know. I’ll address that and update the input bindings and get that update too. They should both come with the bindings, the only difference is intended just to allow people to start with their chosen version.
