I’m running into an error for the dots.editor package and wanted to know what the setup should be, especially given there’s the new .50. versions of everything out now.
We’re working behind the scenes to learn as much as possible about the new version of DOTS. For the course as we have it presented right now, we’re using version 0.17.0 (yep, they made a big jump in numbers to 0.50).
The easiest way to install 0.17.0 is to trick the manifest. Close your project and navigate to your projects Packages folder and open the file manifest.json
Select the entire contents of the file and paste in

and re-open Unity. The correct version dependencies and packages will be loaded.
