Always loved games and been fascinated by the way they have developed over the years but never got into the guts of it and had a go myself. Now is the time!
Nice to meet you all!

Hello everybody! My name is Pablo, 30 years old, hardware and software developer since 15. I’m Brazilian, but I’ve been working as a solutions developer in Canada for 1 year. Game development was always a kind of mystery for me, so, I’m in this course to start learning, as the first step to some big projects that are coming.
Good studies everyone!
Cheers!
Good morning from Colorado USA!
I am new here and I am new to coding and game development and very excited to take this course! 25 years old, was raised in California and that is where I started my future of character design and illustration! I am hoping in taking my art experience and apply them to the world of video games and animation. I feel like this course would be an efficient way in getting my foot in the door for future projects and collaborations.
My favorite things are:
Sketching Ideas
Cartoons
Artistic Collaborations
Drawing in General
Caricatures
PC games
Retro games
Dogs
Random banter
Thanks for for reading! And hopefully I can collab with you all in the future!

Hello everyone!
I am Goce and I’m from Macedonia. I am 27 years old and i love games but mostly playing them. I already have earlier experience in programming and 3d modeling but because I probably have ADD all i do all day is that procrastinating and being lazy, and i only payed for this course to motivate myself to work knowing that i actually spend money on it. I am looking forward to keep my attention to the first 10 video lectures which is going to be success already. You guys are all great and i am not very good at social interactions.
Best wishes !
Hi my name is Ben and I have been gifted this course and am going to see it through. I always loved console gaming personally but my brother has his own company in VR and software development and I wanted to get involved and this seems to be a very affordable option!
Hi, I’m Ahmed Abol-Ela from Egypt, completely beginner with Unity:) hope to get started with this course.
Hi all, I’m Chris from England, UK.
Looking to dive into this as part of long term interest. Turning 30 this year and decided it’s about time I did something about something which I feel I’d enjoy.
Hello, This will be my first entrance into the wonderful world of video game programming. Hopefully I can learn something and share somethings along the way. Talk you all soon.
Will from Bristol UK here, 36 year old IT guy / musician. Picked up a GearVR over Xmas and as a result I now have a load of ideas for apps and need a fast track to pick up the basics of Unity development Happy new year everyone!
Hi, I’m Oscar from Australia. I chose this course because I want to learn some coding skills for my personal projects, and it seemed like a good place to begin. I’m usually pretty impatient, but honestly one of the best things in life is learning new skills. I’m excited to start making games!
Hello, my name is Jacob. I just recently finished my classes with the Art Institute of Indianapolis, I’m from Indiana by the way, studying media arts and animation. I got my first exposure to game development in both Unreal and Unity engines doing a self study project for one of my classes. I’m taking this course because I feel that it will teach me more about coding than what I am capable of learning on my own through youtube, and learn it a lot faster. Can’t wait to start learning!
I teach English in Tokyo, at a university (they call me professor), and I want to make learning languages more interesting. I do some web development, and am well connected to tech communities for teaching and learning here in Tokyo. Hope to gain some expertise so I can contract others to develop some ideas I have. Just want to find out what is possible.
Good day!
My name is Michael Miller Jr. I’m the found of a fledgling game “company” called Xion Developers Group.
The goal of XDG is to create games that are not only fun and original but inspire the player to examine various Christian themes, doctrines, stories, or principles but in subtle ways. Unlike past Christian games that are most clearly geared towards Christians, my games will be more discrete, often times sans any religious content at all, instead relying on inspiration from such content. Some games will, of course, be more obvious in Christian nature, but still geared in such a way that players are allowed to examine the message contained within freely.
And then other games will just be completely Christian-less games, like a spy simply trying to escape a building or something.
My skills are still weak in terms of fully making a game, but I’ve been self-learning slowly for the last four years, slowly learning to discipline myself in terms of focus and knowledge. While I’ve not yet finished a complete game, I have managed to come very close during a 2-week game jam. My goals with this course are to gain the most complete and all-around education that goes into a game-making process, learn Unity to expand my skills and resources, and ultimately better understand the inner-workings of game design.
My motivating verse from the Bible comes from Ecclesiastes 7:8, which says, “Better is patience than boasting; better is the end of a thing than its beginning.” I’ve rearranged the words while maintaining the meaning: “Better is a patient work towards the finished product than many boastings of all the things I’ve started.” Sadly, I’ve struggled with the actual finishing of things. So completing this course will be a major personal success.
God bless everyone and I hope you all gain everything you hope for from this course, too!
Michael
