So far UV unwrapping is what I’m finding the most challenging in the course so far. I am confident that I’ll get a grip with it as I progress though the section, I can see that it is a big topic with a number of lectures coming up. At the moment I’m finding that the Unwrap sometimes doesn’t change when I mark new seams. ->
Also at the end of the lecture I made a smart UV project but made the arch faces project from view (in orthographic view). In the picture below you can see that the result was two arches of different sizes. Overall its a bit daunting and unpredictable at this point, however, the fact that I’m finding this so challenging means in the end its going to be a worthwhile skill to have. Wish me luck.
