Weird performance discrepencies

Hi,

Quick question/remark regarding the performance of games in the unity editor:

On my laptop, on battery saver mode, downclocked and unplugged, I get around 900-1000 while playing the simple scene presented at this point in the course.

On my high-end desktop, I get only around 130 fps (with the scene viewer opened). It feels like the fps counters should be reversed

Desktop specs:

i7-12700k
RTX 3070ti
32gb ram (ddr4)

Laptop specs:

Ryzen 7 6800H
RTX 3050
16gb ram (ddr5)

Update

I seem to have found the culprit: G-sync

When I run the scene on my second monitor, I get the expected framerate from my desktop.
If I drag the Unity editor window back to my main monitor (with G-sync enabled) the framerate will drop to about my monitor’s refresh rate.
