Why does the lighting in my scene look weird?
Is that from a brand new project? I think you may need to update your GPU drivers.
Yes it is.
I have a 2020 Macbook Pro with the M1 chipset. You can’t update GPU drivers unless you update the OS. I’m wondering if there’s an incompatibility with Unreal Engine and the M1 chipset.
Possibly, what version are you using? I can’t recall if 4.26 is supported (I think it is?) but 4.27 should work.
I’m using 4.27. The same thing happens with 4.26. I also get random freezes and sometimes I need to restart the computer.
I think you are better off contacting Epic support regarding this as I don’t believe any of us have an M1 Mac to be able to test/reproduce anything. Sorry.
