Hello. I’m just wondering if I could use GitKraken, but only offline, as I don’t like the idea of files being connected or being online at all… I’ve actually had a lot of internet security issues in the past, so I’m not very trusting of it. if not, are there any fully offline alternatives or perhaps something which is built into windows 10 that I can use? Thank you so much, and I’ll look forward to seeing any responses.
I too don’t trust putting things online and look forward to seeing if there is an offline alternative.
If I understand You want to have VC hosted localy.
You can get NAS server and store stuff there with VC to have commits history. Not sure how it will work with Git though.
From what I understand SVN works better on servers. Both gamedev companies I’ve worked in used it. Smaller comapny had NAS server.
But don’t count on me I am trying to figure it out too 
so treat it as point for further reading.
