So i finished this part of the lecture, but at the end i realised my guy is walking a bit slipperly so i added an “ice effect” to the floor. Now i can say, it’s slipping on purpose
Nice mirrored effect walking on ‘ice’.
it’s actually a plane with color and with 0 roughness.
A nice little animation. Well done.
Sorry to say I can no longer access your animation. I wanted to suggest a fix.
thank you, its hard to find a proper free gif uploader site… Maybe it will last a bit more now
Great concept with the ice effect! It’s a fun twist on slippery movement. For gif sharing, consider platforms like Imgur or Giphy—they’re reliable and free! 888STARZ
I can view it now. Not much wrong with animation. It is essentially a stationary walk. If you want it without slipping then body must move in conjunction with steps. If steps rate is two 0.5 m steps per second body must move forward at 1 m per second.
If you use Mixanimo when you select your walk animation you can tick a check box depending on whether you want motion or not. If you have imported a stationary walk you can fix in Blender by adding key frames to hips to create forward motion.
Cheers
