VS Code interrupts code seemingly at random

So it’s getting really hard to follow the course with this recurring bug. My program will just stop at random spots. I didn’t change anything in VS Code exept for what the course told me to. Running Windows 10 if that helps.

This is my code: https://pastebin.com/KpfmdhEq

Compiled using g++ on Linux and it runs fine. You may want to give up on VSC. When you have a problem with it, it can be quite aggravating.

I lasted all of about 10 minutes with VSC before I couldn’t take it lol. Regular VS is far better imo though maybe VSC will be fine in another 5-10 years (one can hope). Gimp did this to me and 14 or so years later its been awesome since.

You can of course try to figure out what’s going wrong with VSC and/or file a bug with Microsoft or the plugin or whatever but it should not be happening and is not a bug you want to be dealing with as it kills productivity.

Yeah, i’ll take your advice and just use regular VS. Pretty sure this course started with it too. Hopefully it wont be much harder to use.

Its different but should do everything without needing to fix problems as long as you install everything the course needs.

Not necessarily more difficult to use. Coming from VS to VSC, I found VSC too slim which makes VSC more difficult to use (and of course things that should just work not working right).

Back home and Visual Studio works as intended, thanks for the suggestion!
