Volume fog bridge

I’m using blender 2.93.1 and haven’t run into any issues until this lesson. The principled volume shader seems to be having some sort of issues. I was able to get something similar by using a volume scatter. I plan on using assets created in blender in unreal for the most part, so this doesn’t impact me too much. I may go ahead and bump up to 3.0 or find a 2.8 version if I have to. Either way. here’s an endless bridge loop;.
