Visual Studio is asking me to download .NET SDK's?

When I open Visual studio through the CS folder I made in Unity it asks me to download a .NET SDK (no idea what that is) or to change the file format of the project? So far I have just changed the format.image
It also opens a windows website that shows me options for downloading .NET SDK’s.

Hi Rayzy,

Which version of Unity do you use? You could either change the .NET Framework to an earlier version as suggested by the message, or you could download the one that is missing.

.NET Framework is needed for writing C# scripts.

I use Unity 2019.3.10. So far I have been “downloading the target pack” and that seems to be working (or at least not-not working). I think I’ll keep doing that but if later on something breaks then I’ll change. Thanks for the help.
