Viewport shadder rendered mode slow render

For those who might be on running at 4k resolution be aware that the resolution at which is render is dependent on the viewport (viewport shadder rendered shift-z, not the set resolution in the scene pannel… so if you’re miximized on a 4k monitor the viewport is 4k ( minus whatever other windows you have opened like the right popup or the left popup etc.) which may be why it takes a while to render… if you shrink the window the render will be done quicker… one way to do this is to just create a dedicated render window.

look at the render time differences…

if you go and modify the render resolution it won’t affect anything because that’s the render resolution, not the viewport shadder

note that I’m working with v2.9 so it may be different in other verisons…
