At first I couldn’t get rid of all the light speckles, even at 10k samples
Played around a bit and came up with something I am really happy with at less than half the samples

What did you change to get such an improvement?
Three things, add a material to the plane, or desk as I named it, turn up the lamp light above the scene, and turn down the power of the emission I used for the light bulb.
The light bulb adjustment made the largest difference, but the other two settings helped finish it off
I like your lamp design very much, and the colors … have to say it , very manly !
