UV's overlap

I have applied my scale to individual pieces. However when I select them all, tab into edit, select all, then U to unwrap, it overlaps all of my islands. I think I will just have to texture all of my pieces on multiple files.

I had the same problem. But go the path of multiple file. It makes it more complex.

I’m not sure what I did. But I selects all objects and did apply to scale.
Somehow, my problem of island overlapping went away.

Maybe redo you steps!

I selected “pack islands” which solved it, but then i had high detail areas that were small and low detail islands that were big. When I tried resizing them manually and it just wasn’t working out. So I have all of mine on different files which sounds like it makes it a lot harder on a game engine. So ultimately I’ll have to do a better when before I make true game ready assets. This one is just for the overall learning process for me.
