Using the eye dropper

Wouldn’t it have been a bit easier using the eye dropper to color pick from the rocks that were looking good and tweak them from the desired one?

To me it just seems like using a single tool would get you in the ball park right away? I’m not sure, but going to try that when I go in and start placing things. My thinking is you can make the other rock colors match the different strata in preferred or dominant asset being used.

I’m a noob so I don’t know for sure.

Not necessarily, the eye dropper on the object you’re trying to blend colour with could work if the object you’re modifying has more white/grey tones. But adjusting tint that way may not get the result you want otherwise.

It could be a great place to start, though!
