I am learning the course “unreal engine 5 C++” on udemy. Today I have found out that the content with unreal engine 5.6 has been released. I just want to ask, will the older content with version 5.0 be replaced? I am asking because I am midway in the course and I dont want to break my link. It will be better if you keep the older course as it is.
It depends on where you’re following the course. When the update is finished, I’d say 2 months anyway, about a month or so after it will be archived. You’ll maintain access on GameDev website but on the Udemy site it gets moved to an archive course which you will be getting access to.
Support at that point is ended for the old course content. The newer content is more relevant and includes the use of Enhanced Input and all assets are current and free as of writing this.
