Unreal Engine 5: Action Adventure Game Development Course

Hi,

I noticed when I play the level and then hit escape to stop play mode, some of the meshes I placed in the level were not there. I am familiar with UE5, however, I never experienced this.

The software is placing the meshes at the bottom of the list of meshes in the outliner, grayed out like they were deactivated. I had to click the pin icon next to the mesh in order for the mesh I need to appear back in the in the level design.

How do I prevent this from happening?

If anyone can help I would appreciate your help.

Thank you!

The reason this is happening because of a feature called world partition, which can get turned on by default when creating a new project or when creating new levels.

Turning it off is a bit of a lengthy process and depends on what version of UE5 you’re using. Can you let me know what version of UE 5 you’re using for the course?

Hi,

Thank you for your help.

I installed version 5.1
