Unity2D tutorial progress - block breaker

Just wanted to share how my tutorial game is looking. Really enjoying using Unity after rolling my own for so long  easy!

Really good 2D art! Did you create it yourself and how?

Thank you! I made it in Aseprite, found here - https://www.aseprite.org/

Here’s a little update. Is there a good software anyone can recommend for recording gameplay?

Awesome stuff! I’m also quite impressed by the graphics. Tempted to try my hand at Asperite myself, but I think yours success is more attributable to talent than simply choosing a good program. I need to find the program that does it for me! Ha!

Thanky you @Crusader that’s very kind of you to say! I’m sure you’ll also have success with Aseprite if you give it a go. I found Adam Younis recently and he has a lot of really great pixel art or Aseprite content that may be helpful! Here’s one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=59Y6OTzNrhk

OMG your art is simply astonishing. I love the details that make it look “3D”. The shine in the unbreakable blocks, the cracks in the regular blocks… If you’re just “learning” to use aseprite, a great future lies ahead of you

Thanks @LordBetosh that’s really lovely of you to say. You’ve encouraged me to stick with it
