Don’t look at the shadow directions, just exercising light directions and shading.

I love your cross hatching shadows.

In my far, far past, I used them a lot using a Drawing board. Some where standardized as in blue prints for buildings. What is steel, what is concrete, etc… it was tedious millimeter work.
This is just quick pencil strokes.
