Importing all the assets into UE throughout the course has been great practice with the pipeline. However, skeletons and animations was quite the curveball. It took all day, but I got the character rigged with idle and walk animations as well as playable in UE. These lessons have been fantastic! I can’t thank Grant and the team enough. There’s still a lot of improvement to make, but I couldn’t have come this far a week ago. I’ll probably stick to Maximo for many animations, but animating animals and actions like reloading or object animations like a bow, the knowledge I’ve gained is invaluable.
