UE Blueprints vs Unity Prefabs

Hey all, I just wanted to make sure that I’m not crazy and that my understanding is true. I just got to the lecture where we took the DefaultPawn and made a blueprint out of it that we can then use to instantiate instances from later. From doing some simple messing around it seems this is just (in general) UE’s version of Unity’s Prefab paradigm.

Is this generally safe to assume or are there specific differences between UE’s blueprints and Unity’s Prefabs as far as changing instances from the blueprint or instantiating instances?
